Being Home

Today I am grateful to be home. I am grateful to have a day where we have no activities or meetings to go to and I can just spend the day at home with my children. It is a great day today and much needed.

Others Kindness

Today I am grateful for the kindness of others. A man I know passed away recently and his wife and him helped my mother a lot in a time of need when I was a child. I am grateful for their service and kindness toward my mom and my sisters and I. Thank you!

Family

Today I am thankful for my family. I am thankful for my mom and dad and step parents. I am thankful for my 3 sisters - we have such a good time when we get together. Love you! I am also thankful for my dear hubby! He is my sweetheart and best friend. I am thankful for my children they are such dear sweet spirits and though they drive me crazy at times I am thankful that they are in my life and could not imagine my life without them. I love my family and am thankful for them all!

The end of the day

Today I am grateful for the end of the day. After a long hard stressful day - I am grateful that it has come to an end. Now I can breath a sigh of relief.

Sleep

Boy I am feeling a little ungrateful because I haven't posted for so long.
Today I am grateful for sleep. I have been feeling a cold coming on and so sleep has been on my mind. Isaac has been sleeping through the night more lately and that makes me very happy (knock on wood). I am trying to go to bed earlier and getup earlier. Tonight would not be on of those earlier nights. . . . . oh well. I am so sleepy now - guess I will go to bed! Good night Sleep tight! Yes sleep is good! :)

Girls Nights

I am thankful for Girls Night Out. It is always so good to be able to get away from your children and husband and just be with women. I am thankful for those friendships and my husbands willingness to let me go out. :)

Clean Laundry

Today I am thankful for clean laundry. It smells so nice and feels so good not to have piles of dirty laundry everywhere. Even better to have no piles of dirty laundry to wash or clean laundry to put away. It is nice to go to your closet and have clean clothes and clean clothes in the kids drawers. :)

Sister-in-law

Today I am grateful for my wonderful sister-in-law Kim. She is so fun to be around and makes me laugh. She is a great support and friend. She is a great dancer and singer and is always willing to try new things. She is very real and down to earth. She is a blast to go shopping with. Love our late night runs to the stores. She has a kind heart and is very generous. We are having a girls night soon and I can't wait. She is rescuing me! :0)

Warmth

Today I am grateful for warmth! I am grateful for the the warmth of the car on a cold day and the convenience of seats with heaters in them. I am grateful for the warmth of hot water on cold hands and in the shower. I am thankful for the warmth of the steam from hot showers and getting out of the shower when the heat is on and making the bathroom nice and warm in the winter. I am thankful for the warmth of sweats , thick socks, blankets and down comforters. I am thankful for the warmth of hot food and hot cocoa. I am also thankful for the warm of holding a baby close and cuddling with loved ones. Yes today I am grateful for warmth.

Hugs

Today I am thankful for the hugs of little children. Mainly my little children. They open their arms wide and with big smiles on their faces they squeeze you tight. And then you smile too. I am grateful for Hugs today! Oh, and the Mommy I need yous - it is good to feel needed. :)

November 4th

Today I am grateful to live in a free country where we have the right to vote for our leaders and have a voice in who runs our country.....Even if the people we vote for don't get elected.

Gratitude

I have decided that I need to focus more on the gratitude that I have for things in my life daily. To quote from Alma 34:38.......and that you live in thanksgiving daily, for the many mercies and blessings which he doth bestow upon you. I am going to use this blog as a gratitude journal to daily (I hope) record the things that I am grateful for. Because it is also a commandment that we thank the Lord our god in all things and in all places.
